𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿

On September 21, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., members of the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗔) — One Community, Many Faiths, Working Together — gathered at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for our annual 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

This year’s theme, 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆, reminded us that peace is more than something we hope for — it is something we create through kindness, service, understanding, and collaboration.

One of the most meaningful parts of this year’s celebration was the prominent role played by our 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡. Their participation, voices, and presence reminded us that building a more peaceful world also means encouraging the next generation to become active participants in creating it.

𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥, 𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗗 $𝟮,𝟵𝟬𝟬 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗔.

Different faith traditions and different ways of worship, brought together by a shared commitment to compassion, dignity, and hope.

We are deeply grateful to our speakers, local leaders, families, youth, children, volunteers, and everyone who joined us, as well as to our gracious hosts for welcoming the community.

Seeing people of different faiths, ages, and backgrounds standing together was a powerful reminder that 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗪𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥.

The work continues beyond the International Day of Peace. We invite our community members to join MICA as we continue building relationships, serving our neighbors, and creating opportunities for understanding and cooperation.
